Ideal candidates will have had prior customer service experience, preferably in an airport or hospitality environment, as well as an extensive background in Baggage Services (BMAS). Successful candidates will also have strong customer service & computer skills, as well as previous airport experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Customer Service/Baggage Service Agents meet and greet arriving passengers in the baggage claim area; provide assistance and information to individuals meeting arriving passengers. Determine service needs of customers, providing assistance with all baggage issues, including lost, damaged and pilfered luggage.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE for BAGGAGE SERVICE AGENT
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience necessary.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a home telephone.
• Must have reliable transportation.
PERSONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS for BAGGAGE SERVICE AGENT
• Treat all information as confidential.
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of passengers, client representatives and employees.
• Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift.
• Physical exam may be required to confirm above
• Must pass drug test.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• No criminal convictions
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
