G2 Secure Staff, LLC is looking for a Terminal Services Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day terminal operations to include skycap, bag runner, and handling customers with disabilities at SFO Airport. This position will support the G2 account contract with client, American Airlines. As the Operations Supervisor, you will monitor and maintain schedules, approve time off, investigate incidents, manage daily hours, control overtime, respond to union employee grievances, and run an efficient and effective shift operation. In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining positive customer feedback by participating in airline client debriefs and reviews with senior SFO air carrier management, manage G2’s performance measurement of services, ensure all Airline/TSA and G2 audits are successful. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of progressive management experience, preferred legacy airline carrier management or Operations Supervision in an airline contract services capacity. Position would be ideal for a current Airline Department Supervisor or Airline Customer Service Supervisor looking to advance into a larger operations role; a self-starter who can work with limited supervision. This role reports to the General Manager and is supported by shift leads, and a mid-sized union employee population.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Responsible for duties at operation such as hiring/terminations, counseling, administrative duties, client relations, FAA/TSA relations, training, payroll processing, scheduling, and employee relations
* Train/retrain all personnel in airline/airport procedures, safety procedures, and company policies and procedures
* Responsible for the scheduling of all airport employees insuring adequate coverage
* Maintain good employee relations at airport site
* Handle employee problems in an efficient and effective manner
* Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public in a courteous manner
* Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files
* Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
* Utilize company equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost effective manner
* Perform quality assurance service audits as directed to conform to client specifications and/or procedures
* Perform other duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
* Motivated leader, willing to roll-up their sleeves and work alongside the employees
* College Degree (preferred) and at least 3 years of progressive management experience in an airline Terminal Services environment (above and/or below wing)
* Airline, Operations, or Hospitality management experience required
* Union labor workforce management experience preferred
* Proven experience in driving positive results in key performance areas, i.e., maintaining and/or improving audit results, compliance standards, loss time, client satisfaction, Code 39’s, etc.
* Working knowledge of budgets
* Willingness and ability to relocate if currently living outside the SFO area
* Excellent communication skills; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus
* Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skill to include: Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
* Flexibility, multitasking and experience working in a changing environment
