This Privacy Policy applies to G2SecureStaff.com (the “Site”), and any other personal information obtained when you call, email, or otherwise communicate with G2 Secure Staff, LLC (“G2,” “we” or “us”). By accessing the Site on any computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other device or otherwise interacting with G2, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the policy, please do not use the Site.

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time and we will post the current version on the Site. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are using the information we collect.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit the Site, we may collect certain information from you by automated means, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, MAC address, browser type, operating system, device-identifying information, the specific web pages visited during your connection, and the domain name from which you accessed the Site. In addition, we may collect information about your browsing behavior, such as the date and time you visit the Site, the areas or pages of the Site that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing the Site, the number of times you return to the Site and other clickstream data. We may also use non-personal or aggregated information for statistical analysis, research, and other purposes.

We analyze how visitors use our Site through what is known as “cookie” technology or similar tracking tools. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer when you access the Site and allows us to recognize you each time you visit the Site. We may use cookies to: (1) allow you to use the Site without having to re-enter your username and password; (2) enhance or personalize your Site usage experience; (3) monitor Site usage; (4) manage the Site; and (5) improve the Site and our services. However, if your browser is set to reject cookies or you manually delete cookies, you may have some trouble accessing and using some of the pages and features that are currently on our Site, or that we may put on our Site in the future. Note that browser-management tools for cookies are outside of our control and we cannot guarantee their effectiveness.

We may combine the information we collect through cookies, web beacons, or other technology tools with other information we have collected from you or information from other sources.

Use of Information

We may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to perform a contract with you; (2) to respond to your inquiries; (3) to review Site usage and operations; (4) to address problems with the Site, our business or our services; (5) to protect the security or integrity of the Site and our business; (6) to monitor the Site for compliance with our Terms of Use and the law; and (7) to contact you with Site updates, newsletters and other informational and promotional materials from us.

If you sign up for our mailing list, we will send you informational emails about offers of services. At any time, you can “unsubscribe” yourself from our email list simply by clicking the “unsubscribe” button.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information collected from and about you as follows: (1) to our related companies and service providers, to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the Site Terms of Use or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (3) to respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order) and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (4) in the event that our company or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. We may also disclose your personal information with your express consent. We may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable information about Site users with third parties. Unless you expressly give us permission in writing to do so, we will not sell, rent, license, share or trade your personal information other than as specified in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that if you voluntarily submit any personal information for posting on the Site, including in the course of uploading a video, the information becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others, so you should use care before posting information about yourself online.

Retention of Personal Information

We may retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (a) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide services, (b) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject, and (c) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).  We retain your personal information for up to 7 years following the end of your services or other business relationship in accordance with applicable law.

Security

We maintain reasonable and appropriate measures designed to maintain information we collect in a secure manner. We have taken certain physical, electronic, and administrative steps to safeguard and secure the information we collect from visitors to the Site. Even though we follow reasonable procedures to try to protect the information in our possession, no security system is perfect and we cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your information will be secure in all circumstances.

Children

The Site is not directed to children, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen without verifiable parental consent. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us promptly as described below, and we will endeavor to investigate and delete such information from our systems. We do not have actual knowledge about selling or sharing personal information of consumers under the age of 16.

Third Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience and information.  These websites may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the activities and practices that take place on these websites. Accordingly, we recommend that you review the privacy policy posted on any external site before disclosing any personal information. Please contact those websites directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this privacy policy from time to time, including as required to keep current with rules and regulations, new technologies and security standards. When we do, we will post the change(s) on our Site. If we change the policy in a material and retroactive manner, we will provide appropriate notice to you.

Your California Privacy Rights

California Business Contact Information

If you are a California resident and we receive your personal information in the form of contact details on our website or otherwise, we may use your contact and business details to maintain our business contacts. For this purpose, we may transfer your contact details to our internal database.  Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA”), you have privacy rights with respect to your business contact personal information.

The processing activity may include the following categories of personal information:

  • Your contact information (e.g., name, title, form of address or salutation, address, telephone numbers, email address); and
  • Details on your profession (e.g., job title, position, personnel number, place of work, department, qualifications).

This data processing is based on our legitimate business interests. We have a legitimate economic interest in maintaining contacts beyond the initial context and in using them to establish and develop a business relationship and to remain in contact with the parties concerned.

Such business contacts could also be easily processed in our email communications with you and then kept in typical business software, either centrally or on the electronic devices of our employees.

California law provides you with the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about you.
  • The right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information about you.

When you exercise these rights and submit a request to us, we will verify your identity by asking you to log in to your account if you have one with us. If you do not have an account with us, we may ask for your email address or phone number. We also may use a third party verification provider to verify your identity.

Submitting Requests

California residents have the right to opt out of the selling and sharing of their personal information and to limit the use of their sensitive personal information.  However, we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not collect or use use sensitive personal information, unless we provide you with notice of those additional purposes.

We will respond to your request in compliance with the requirements of applicable laws.  Please note that we are only required to honor California requests to know twice in a 12-month period.

We do not discriminate against California residents who exercise any of their rights described in our Privacy Policy. Your exercise of these rights will have no adverse effect on the price and quality of our goods or services.

Authorized Agents

You may permit an authorized agent to submit a request to know or to delete your personal information.  If we receive a request on your behalf, we will ask that person to give us proof that you gave that person written permission to make a request for you.  If that person does not provide us with written proof, we will deny their request so that we can protect your personal information.

Automated Decision-Making

We generally do not use automated decision-making technology, as that term is defined by state privacy laws. If we make use of automated decision-making technology, you will be informed through a separate privacy notice.

California law also permits our users who are California residents to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. This request is free and may be made once a year. To make such a request, please write to us as described below in “Contact Us.”

Visitors from Outside the United States—Cross-Border Transfer

The Site is hosted and operated primarily in the United States. If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States or other countries in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  The data protection and other applicable laws of the United States or other countries may not be as comprehensive as those laws or regulations in your country or may otherwise differ from the data protection or consumer protection laws in your country. Your information may be available to government authorities under lawful orders and law applicable in such jurisdictions. By using the Site and/or providing personal information to us, you consent to transfer of your information to our facilities as described in this Privacy Policy.
