David Vance is the Vice President of Operations & Safety for G2 Secure Staff. Mr. Vance is responsible for all cargo operations and airport operations in the Central U.S. He also serves as G2’s Chief Safety Officer overseeing the Company’s safety management program.

David has over 35 years of experience in the aviation business. During his 33 years with American Airlines, he held key leadership roles including the Vice President of Cargo Operations, Managing Director of Customer Operations, Planning & GSE, Managing Director of Corporate Security, and General Manager in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Vance has a broad range of managerial experience having managed Operations, Security, Engineering and Finance departments. This experience has helped him to serve on a number of Boards and Councils including:

1. Airlines for America (A4A) – Cargo Council Chair
2. Air Transport Association (ATA) Security Council
3. United States State Department – Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC)
4. Austin Convention and Visitor Bureau Advisory Board

David Vance graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1985. He also received his certificate in business leadership development from the University of Oxford.
