Tonya Holt is the General Counsel for G2 Secure Staff, LLC in Irving, Texas.  As General Counsel, Tonya is responsible for leadership and oversight of the Legal and Risk Management Departments.  She works closely with Operations, Compliance and Safety to manage G2’s legal risk and exposure while taking a proactive and preventative approach to prevent or mitigate litigation.

Prior to joining G2 in 2019, Tonya practiced law for over 25 years as a corporate counsel, trial attorney, government attorney, employment and labor attorney, law firm managing counsel and a civil rights advocate.  Tonya is a graduate of Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) where she earned a degree in Political Science and Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law (Houston, TX) where she earned a Juris Doctor degree.  Tonya was licensed to practice law by the State of Texas in 1995 and has been admitted to practice law before various federal courts throughout the United States of America.

Tonya has been recognized as the Corporate Counsel of the Year from the State Bar of Texas, Minority Counsel Program; the Corporate Counsel of the Year- Champion of Diversity by the Dallas Business Journal; and as a Finalist for Corporate Counsel of the Year for D Magazine.
